Pro-Action: Life Skills Adventure Program (Grades 4 - 6)

Location: Trenton, New Jersey

Two Separate Weeks

Dates: August 1 – 5 & 8 – 12

For the last 8 years the Pro-Action Team, Inc has performed programs in the Trenton School District. Fro the first time in the Trenton area the Pro-Action Team, Inc will offer a summer camp for students, grades 4 – 6.

This program is designed to be fun, interactive, educational, experiential, and supports the Trenton school district’s character education and substance abuse prevention efforts.

Week #1: “Pro-Action’s River-Rafting & Leadership Training”

Week #2: “Inward Bound”

During this five-day program students will participate in activities designed to develop:

Respect, personal responsibility
An increased awareness of the negative effects of substance abuse and violence
Conflict resolution skills

Methods for enhancing cognitive development, self-image, self-discipline, and organizational skills
An increased understanding of computer technology and Internet skills
